How to Run FlexRule Designer on Mac

You can run FlexRule Designer on a Mac using one of the following methods.

Apple Boot Camp

You can install Microsoft Windows 10 on Mac using a boot camp and install FlexRule Designer there on Windows. This allows switching between macOS and Windows when restarting your Mac.

Remote Desktop Virtualization

Remote desktop virtualization operates in a client/server computing environment.

In this method, FlexRule is installed and executed on a remote operating system. The local client communicates with this operating system over a network using a remote display protocol which enables the use of FlexRule. All the data related to this FlexRule installation is on the remote desktop and from your local device, you will only be operating it.

Virtual Machines

A virtual machine allows creating a computer virtually within your existing computer. You can first install a virtual machine tool in your Mac, install Windows in the virtual machine, and install FlexRule in Windows there. Then you can easily switch between Mac and Windows without restarting the machine.
