Introduction to Booklet

◷ Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Booklet is a powerful tool as part of Decision Analytics, enabling you to understand data, create LiveContext for making decisions and understand the decision outcomes.

Data Connectivity

You can connect any form of data from any data source to Booklet. It can be based on simple data connectivity to REST API, Databases, Files, or even an orchestration model doing many different things and preparing your data to be connected.

Understanding Data and Creating LiveContext

There are different ways to understand the data. The fundamental part of it is you need to be able to connect to data and explore data in various forms — either in table view (columns and rows format) view or using visualization techniques.
It also includes and is not limited to:

  • Creating business rules
  • Grouping data
  • Searching through information
  • Filtering on column
  • Defining filters
  • Creating multi-level summaries
  • and more
DA Filters

You can investigate your data, apply business rules and criteria, and highlight the values and rows to ensure critical information is not hidden inside only some data and numbers.
Once you have defined the criteria based on the business rules, you can save and manage them and use them as part of LiveContext in live decision-making scenarios.

Visualizing Data and Decision Outcomes

Booklet enables you to create interactive visualization based on defined business rules and criteria.
There are many types of interactive charts available in Booklet, and you can have multiple pages of them, simply like a Booklet. Setting them is as easy as dragging and dropping a chart item from Toolbox in a page of Booklet.
