How to Migrate to FlexRule OPEN(v11)?

If you currently use FlexRule, follow the steps below to migrate to FlexRule OPEN(version 11):

All the products and licenses (if applicable) can be downloaded via the FlexRule User Portal.

1. Navigate to the FlexRule User Portal.
2. Log in with your FlexRule login.
3. Go to the Download section to download the products.
4. Go to the Licenses section if you need to download any licenses (only for certain products).

All the existing users who have already registered in FlexRule can directly access the FlexRule User Portal and follow the instructions below to migrate.
There is no need to re-register or send the username.

You can submit a ticket to contact the FlexRule support team for any questions.

FlexRule Designer

If you are using FlexRule Designer as the authoring environment to model the business rules in your development environment,

1. Download only FlexRule Designer version 11 from the User Portal.
2. Install FlexRule Designer and Runtime.

There is no need to download licenses. Once you install the Designer, you can simply log in with your FlexRule login.

FlexRule Runtime SDK

If you are using the FlexRule Runtime SDK directly in FlexRule Runner or if you use your preferred authoring environment other than FlexRule Designer,

1. Download FlexRule Runtime Version 11 from the User Portal.
2. If you are using the Runner, download FlexRule Runner Version 11 from the User Portal.
3. Send the Serial Number to FlexRule Support.
4. Wait for the confirmation email from the support team.
5. Download the licenses (FlexRule Runtime, version 11) from the User Portal.
6. Replace the existing Runtime license with the newly downloaded one.

FlexRule Server

The steps can be different depending on how you are using the FlexRule Server.

On-Premise/ Cloud

1. Download FlexRule Server Version 11 from the User Portal.
2. Send the Serial Number to FlexRule Support.
3. Wait for the confirmation email from the support team.
4. Download the licenses (FlexRule Runtime and FlexRule Server, version 11) from the User Portal.
5. Replace the existing license with the newly downloaded ones.

FlexRule SDK on Cloud

1. Download FlexRule Runtime Version 11 from the User Portal.
2. Download the licenses (FlexRule Runtime, version 11) from the User Portal.
3. Replace the existing license with the newly downloaded one.

All the new users should first register on FlexRule and send their username to the FlexRule support team.
